La mutación de una cepa de la actual COVID-19, sumergió al mundo entero en una cuarentena de 4 años por la COVID-23.
Producida en plena crisis sanitaria
Los protagonistas de ”Songbird” se sumergen en la desesperación de la supervivencia y una estricta Ley Marcial. La pandemia actual es llevada al extremo, hasta puntos aterradores.
Sofia Carson y K.J. Apason los protagonistas, que desgraciadamente tuvieron que pasar el estricto confinamiento separados sin poder verse. Constantemente intentan volver a estar juntos, cosa que es complicado por la propia trama de la película pero K.J. Apa es inmune al virus y esto es lo que podría volver juntarlos.
Por otro lado la otra protagonista, Sofia Carson, es obligada a abandonar su domicilio tras el positivo de un vecino pero no le va a resultar fácil. Hay amenazas más allá del virus.
Adam Manson, director del film ha explicado que se trata de la versión pandémica de Romeo y Julieta, aclarando que grabar la película en plena pandemia actual supuso muchas limitaciones que lograron solventar.
En el reparto se encuentran artistas como Bradley Withford, Alexandra Daddario y Demi Moore entre otros.
La fecha del estreno es todavía un misterio. Únicamente nos dejan con un ”próximamente”. Solo sabemos que será para 2021.
