Bautizados como 269 Justitia y 203 Pompeja, tienen muchas similitudes con los objetos situados más allá del planeta Neptuno, conocidos como transneptunianos. Esto ha desconcertado a los científicos e investigadores que determinan que el Cinturón de Asteroides no es su lugar.
Las dos rocas gigantes observadas tienen un color rojo y materia orgánica compleja en su superficie, algo fuera de lo común en los asteroides del lugar.
Los expertos han lanzado la siguiente hipótesis: es probable que en los inicios del Sistema Solar estos dos asteroides se hubiesen formado en las inmediaciones de Neptuno, y que por culpa de una fase violenta de migración planetaria se hayan desplazado al Cinturón de Asteroides.
203 Pompeja es el único asteroide <<muy rojo>> de entre los 250 cuerpos con diámetros superiores a 110km descubiertos en el Cinturón. 269 Justitia tiene 55km de diámetro mientras que 203 Pompeja tiene 110km, según las fuentes de JAXA.
Estos cuerpos fueron descubiertos en el siglo XIX, pero no fue hasta un par de siglos después que se determinó el color gracias a observaciones espectroscópicas de infrarrojo cercano de la Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) en Hawaii con la colaboración del Seoul National University Astronomical Observatory (SAO) en Corea del Sur.
Los asteroides transneptunianos suelen tener colores rojizos gracias a que tienen compuestos orgánicos complejos en la superficie, como metano y carbono. Sin embargo los del Cinturón de Asteroides no, por eso la luz que reflejan es azul.
Para tener estos compuestos orgánicos, inicialmente es necesario tener mucho hielo en la superficie. Así que deben haberse formado en un ambiente muy frío. Entonces, la irradiación solar del hielo crea esos compuestos orgánicos complejos. Si los asteroides estuvieran demasiado cerca del Sol, las temperaturas no permitirían que existiera el hielo.
Afirma el autor del estudio de la Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Michaël Marsset.

I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and
